What Is a Domain Broker Service?

Domain name brokerage services help both domain name buyers and sellers.  For buyers, our brokers help appraise the domain name of interest and negotiate with the current owner(s) for the best price the buyers want to pay.  For domain sellers, our brokers help appraise the domain names, identify the possible prospective buyers, and negotiate with them for the best price for the sellers.

A typical transaction process includes appraising the domain name of concern, identifying buyers or sellers, negotiating with prospective buyers or sellers, making the payment, transferring the domain name, delivering the payment to the seller or buyer, close the transaction.  Usually, the process is mediated through an escrow service provider such as escrow.com.  In some cases, the payment can be made to Pronamer and the broker will ensure that the seller receives the payment.

It depends on two things: How fast the buyer make the payment and how fast the seller delivers the domain name.  Usually, the process takes ten to 15 days if no one wastes any time.

In most cases, no agreements are needed.  Using an escrow service per se indicates that you as a seller or a buyer agree upon the terms of use with the services.  However, sometimes, the buyer may request a sales agreement and or a non-disclosure agreement signed by the seller.  The sales agreement is mainly to ensure that the seller is the rightful owner of the domain name, and the buyer will not seek any warranty of any rights to using the domain name from the seller.  Non-disclosure agreement is mainly to ensure the transaction remains confidential.
